DOG REWARDS - TREATS

One of the greatest things about training dogs is finding out some of the things that they like to get as a treat. I have found that a lot of it depends upon your dog, but the best thing is to simply try a variety of different things and see which one your dog likes. Here is a clip on a treat I would recommend:

DRY BISCUITS

If you are training a dog that has a tendency to be a little high strung in the beginning, you might want to start off with something that is more like a biscuit. It is made with less real meat, so it will have a more of a tendency to keep the dog in control.

REAL MEAT OR CHEESE

The real meat or cheese would be something that I would reccomend with a dog that is extremely finicky, or maybe very soft and shy. Because it's something that is natural and because of the taste, this is a great treat to use to get a shy dog into you.

BIL-JAC SOFT & CHEWY LIVER TREATS

This a great treat that can work with out of control dogs, as well as dogs that may be a little soft and shy. It seems like most dogs really like the taste of these too. What I really like is that they are already small enough to be used as treats for training.
