I hope these few pages gave you a better perspective on the clicker, and how I use it. Again, this is just my style, and this is something that has worked well for me as well as lot of other marine mammal trainers.
I hope that you understand that what I am sharing with you is no big secret. Some of the best trainers I have ever been around were extremely successful with this years ago, and continue to use it today.
Remember that dogs are smart, and you can totally condition them to accepting the sound of the clicker as a form of communication telling them they did the behavior right, and not that it means "food" or that "you are always going to get a reward"
